There has never been a more exciting and opportune time for solar energy in Canada at the federal level. The new Government of Canada has big ambitions to have clean technology, like solar energy and other renewables, be a key part of the Canada’s climate change action plan and its economic development strategy. CanSIA is leading the charge, advocating on behalf of the Canadian solar industry, to promote the benefits of solar energy in reducing green house gas emissions and in creating jobs for Canadians across the country, ensuring that solar energy plays a prominent role within the federal policy framework.

The CanSIA Federal Solar Summit will bring together solar energy executives and federal department representatives to further raise the profile of solar energy and to discuss policy alternatives that will determine the best path forward for solar energy at the national level. In conjunction with the Summit, CanSIA will organize and host a Parliament Hill Advocacy Day. This advocacy day will provide executives from CanSIA member companies with an opportunity to network with and communicate key messages to Federal ministers, Members of Parliament and other high ranking government officials.

Join CanSIA at the Federal Solar Summit to;

learn where federal solar policy is going and how it will impact your business,
to network with solar company executives and high ranking government officials and politicians, and
join the industry in advocating the benefits of solar energy to Canada’s environment and economy.
Will be announced soon.
